When the temperatures get cold, there’s nothing better than a healthy, healing, and warming beverage – in the form of golden milk. If you’re from India, turmeric milk is nothing new, but for us western folks, this may be a new beverage for you.

  1. Place milk, turmeric, ginger, coconut oil, and cayenne in a small saucepan. Add cinnamon stick.
  2. Over medium heat, whisk frequently, until hot but not boiling.
  3. Taste and add in your sweetener as desired.
  4. If you used fresh turmeric and ginger, strain it to your cups. If not, divide it in two mugs.
  5. Sprinkle with ground cinnamon and serve.
Recipe Notes

Note: Turmeric can be staining to clothes and countertops, so handle the drink and its contents with care.
